These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the FinalCup mobile application ("the App") and the finalcup.app website ("the Site"), published by FinalCup, based in Switzerland.
By using the App, you accept these Terms in their entirety.
FinalCup is a free mobile app (with a Premium option) for creating and managing sports and esports tournaments. The App allows you to:
The App can be used without an account for basic features (data stored locally). Creating an account (via email and password, Google login, or Sign in with Apple) is required to access cloud features (backup, sharing, sync).
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity carried out from your account is deemed to have been carried out by you.
Cloud backup and synchronization require an active and connected user account. If you log out, synchronization is interrupted and data is kept only locally on the device. FinalCup cannot be held responsible for data loss resulting from account logout, voluntary or involuntary, nor from device change or loss without active account connection at the time.
The App offers a free version and a paid Premium version:
Premium prices are 2.50 CHF per month or 25 CHF per year. Purchases are made via Google Play Store or Apple App Store, depending on your device, and are subject to their respective terms.
The Premium subscription is managed by the distribution platform. Subscription renewal, cancellation, and refund are subject to the conditions of the relevant platform. FinalCup does not collect payments directly and cannot issue refunds — any refund requests must be addressed to Google or Apple.
The free version of the App displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Premium users see no ads. On iOS, ad tracking requires your explicit consent through the ATT (App Tracking Transparency) prompt. Ads are managed by Google and are subject to Google's privacy policies.
The App may send local notifications (match reminders) and push notifications (shared tournament updates). You can disable notifications at any time from the App settings or your device settings.
The App is intended for users aged 13 or older. By using the App, you declare that you are at least 13 years old or have the authorization of a legal guardian.
You agree to use the App in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms. The following are notably prohibited:
The App, its source code, design, texts, images, and logo are the exclusive property of FinalCup and are protected by Swiss copyright law and applicable international conventions.
The data you create in the App (tournaments, players, scores) remains your property.
The App uses third-party services for its operation: Supabase (authentication and database), Google Firebase (usage analytics), Google AdMob (advertisements), RevenueCat (subscription management), Sentry (crash reports), Expo (push notifications), Resend (transactional emails). FinalCup cannot be held responsible for interruptions, modifications, or terminations of these third-party services.
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.
You can delete your account directly from the App by accessing My Account → Delete my account. Upon deletion, you can choose to keep your local data on your device or delete everything. Cloud data (backups, shared tournaments, push notification tokens) is deleted from our servers. You can also request deletion by emailing contact@finalcup.app.
We strive to ensure 24/7 availability of the App and the cloud service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and cannot be held responsible for temporary interruption due to maintenance, updates, or force majeure.
The App also works offline. Local data remains accessible without an internet connection.
The App is provided "as is". FinalCup cannot be held responsible for:
Cloud backup is provided as a convenience. We recommend that users perform their own regular backups.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of this page. In case of substantial changes, we will notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are subject to Swiss law. Any dispute relating to the use of the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland, subject to the mandatory provisions applicable in matters of consumer protection.
